THE WINE & THE REGION

In the heart of the Barolo Region, precisely in Monta D’Alba, Piedmont, lies the Pelassa Winery. With over 50 years of experience and a deep commitment to preserving the region’s winemaking tradition, the family crafts this delicate Barbera d’Alba.

Manually harvested in the middle of October, the grapes enjoy a relatively long hang time on the vine, offering rich and dense flavors. After the harvest, the wine undergoes a patient ageing process of 12 months in oak barrels and 12 months in the bottle.

A captivating ruby red wine boasting ripe berry fruit and vanilla aromas on the nose. With a full-bodied, soft, and well-balanced taste, this exceptionally classy wine leaves a lasting impression with its impressive persistence and delightful sapidity.
