Côtes de Provence Rosé
Grape Varietal: 70% Cinsault 30% Grenache
THE WINE & THE REGION
Domaine de La Sanglière, home of the most exquisite and traditional rosé wines in the world, is situated right on the coast of the Mediterranean sea in an area of Provence called Bormes-les-Mimosas, a beautiful seaside village named after its well-decorated Mimosas.
With its classic Mediterranean climate, Provence is the motherland of rosé wines. Mild winters, abundant sunshine, mistral winds, and varied soils provide both diversity and consistency in the wines produced here with star grapes being: mourvedre, grenache, syrah, cinsault.
THE STYLE
Breezette is the rosé wine that should be on every bistro table on a hot summer day. A light, well-balanced, fruit forward rosé wine that is simple crisp, refreshing and thirst-quenching. It is rich with ripe exotic citrus fruits, like pineapple and red grapefruit, and has a hint of sea salt given the winery’s close proximity to the sea.
With its light golden color and its perfect minerality and fruit flavors, this is a true and traditional expression of a beautifully crafted Provence rosé wine.
PAIRING NOTES
Breezette’s versatility spans across a plethora of diverse cuisines. Try Breezette with seafood and Shellfish, such as grilled shrimp, lobster, scallops, salmon or white fish, (grilled, fried, or sautéed). Breezette is also great with Ceviche, Sushi and Asian Cuisine, as well as tapas, spicy foods and, of course, Mediterranean cuisine.
For a more casual meal, Breezette is a great complement to grilled chicken dishes, barbequed pork, and even grilled burgers.
