PELASSA
Barolo DOCG
Barolo DOCG
Grape Varietal: 100% Nebbiolo in its Michet, Lampia and Rosè sub-varieties.
THE WINE & THE REGION
Located in the heart of the Barolo region, the Pelassa family has been crafting exceptional Barolo wines for over 50 years. At an elevation of 350 meters above sea level, their Nebbiolo grapes bask in the perfect climate to craft unique wines.
Their Barolo DOCG spends 2 years in wooden casks and barrels, followed by 12 months in the bottle, resulting in a well-balanced wine renowned for its exceptional age-worthiness.
THE STYLE
Barolo DOCG Pelassa offers a deeply scented bouquet on the nose, from dry flowers and wild rose to an ethereal “tar” essence. On the palate, it presents a velvety, rich, and ripe taste with impressive tannins, creating a powerful and well-balanced profile. A true reflection of Barolo’s distinction, fully embodying its reputation of the “King of Wines.”
PAIRING NOTES
