Harry Aktas has decades of experience in the wine and hospitality industry. Harry is a certified sommelier, passing his blind tasting from the American Sommelier Association here in New York City. He also co-founded and managed a successful multi-million dollar restaurant in the New York City area, developing deep ties to the vibrant local and international community.
Harry brings his extensive knowledge of wines, his practical business acumen, and understanding of the dynamic New York metro market to Turquoise Life.
When he is not visiting wineries around the world, Harry and his wife are often visiting their favorite restaurants in the city, watching local comedians, or out in the park with their pup, Penelope.
